Above, we have the latest track from lowercase, an artist from Canada. What happens on this one is both lowercase and Deqwi create a soundscape that is both peaceful and full of peace obtaining vibes. In other words, both artists want to speak their peace in order to gain some semblance of inner peace. The chorus has some harmonizing on it, possibly to show that gaining peace is easy (even if maintaining it can be hard, as both lowercase and Deqwi allude to).
The video show lowercase and Deqwi rapping their verses with serene visuals of skylines and birds taking flight–as well as their hometown–interspersed throughout. I’m a fan of the shots where both are featured by themselves. It’s as if they’re meditating and achieving a sense of nirvana outside of the other elements of the world. If you’re in the mood for reflective hip-hop with a driving beat, “My Peace” is definitely something you should consider adding to your viewing list/playlist(s).
I hope you like this one as much as I did, so you know what to do. Check out the song above and support dope music in all its forms.
