Sometimes, love is a losing game as Amy Winehouse famously said. Rah Figgy understands that, but still wants to keep playing–if only to get his partner to see things from his perspective. This is the basis of his latest track, “Tug of War.” Over a nostalgia-tinged beat, the singer discusses how he wants to progress in his love life and how he wants to bring his partner with him–even though she keeps pulling back against what they both want. I love the production on this one as well as the lyrics employed throughout the track. You really get to hear what’s on Rah’s mind. I think this is a solid introduction to the artist, so check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
