Big Stealf (f/k/a Stealf Soulja) has a new song out and, in a few words, it’s hard-hitting. “God Complex” discusses men who see themselves as more than human and the fallacies in that mindset. Even if he’s done it in the past, he’s speaking from experience; he’s saying that it’s a weird mentality to have, one that’ll set you up for failure more than anything.

Lyrically, Stealf always comes with great bars, but he’s even got a bit of a melodic touch on this one. I hope this is a sign for things to come from Stealf, as it’s a sound track that builds him up for a big year. I love the melodic elements as well as the overall flow of the song; it’s mainstream-esque, but doesn’t lose the edge that Stealf has gained over the past few years.
