No JustXus just released his Oroville Beginnings project. I’ll tell you this much: if you like the track I’m featuring here, you’ll probably dig the project proper. Now, back to “Free Game.”
“Game” is a track that’s abrasive in its approach. That is, it’s not about the fakeness or the fake sympathy when Just passes on. Instead, he’d prefer if you kept it real, as he does, even if it’s something not so positive. See, many people don’t let you know what they’re really on, regardless their affiliation to you. By keeping it real, you allow yourself the grace to, as JustXus puts it, “[build] your own table, instead of begging for a seat” at someone else’s. I love this one because of the beat, but also the subject matter. In other words, it’s a track that made me want to peep the parent project (as I hope it is for you). Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
