Jordanian-American artist Feraz makes her SOTB debut on the sexy “Right to Sleep.” The song is, as you can probably tell, is about falling in love and lust with someone who knows your body better than you may at points. It’s definitely one of those songs that’s beautiful and in-your-face with its subject matter. With that in mind, it’s a sexual song, but one that never delves into crass territory. Instead, it more so enjoys bouncing around that gray area that’s sensual as much as it is sexual. I enjoyed this song because of its production (it reminds me of a 90s R&B track) and Feraz’s vocals and songwriting. She reminds me of a mix between Janet and Aalyiah in that she’s got the whisper singing thing down, but has moments on the song where she just sang sangs. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
