Diana Chow Presents “U Got Me”

As I poured myself a nightcap (read: a glass of wine since the kids are still awake and I’m staying home), I sat down to write some more SOTBMusic pieces before the night turned into morning. One that grabbed my attention was the indie R&B stylings of Diana Chow. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint a specific genre to put this one in, as it bounces from R&B to electronica to breakbeat and then back around to soulful R&B stylings. I think that’s why it grabbed my attention because it’s a bop and it’s a bop on its own terms. Singing about mixed feelings in love is always a surefire way to get my attention (so take note). Not bad for a song that serves as a debut of sorts for Chow. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
