Reminisce Presents “Hustle” with Buju/BNXN and D Smoke

The song “Hustle” combines Nigerian hip-hop, West Coast rap and a smooth instrumental to present quite a song about waking up, getting up and getting out there. The end result is a realistic look into the eyes of a hustler in every sense of the word. I’m a big fan of D Smoke’s verse because it brings to mind many of the Cali greats before him. I’m also a fan of the effort Buji and Reminisce put into the song, as you can feel every word and know that what they’re putting down is authentic.

Thirdly, I believe that the production blends all these different sounds and styles together and makes something that’s not only coherent, it’s also very vibe-ready. This is the type of track you could play at a party, but also play when you’re ready to get out and make something out of yourself. Not too many tracks walk that line and balance the turnup and the work side of things. This one does and, for that, I must recommend it. If you need something that’s equally inspirational as it is hard-hitting, this one’s for you.
