Manuscript Speaks About “Vindication” on New Song

I think the best way I can describe this one is “bars on top of bars about living one’s life and trying to figure out where one belongs in a world that’s about digital roses and instant gratification.” At least that’s what I take away from Manuscript’s latest. It’s a powerful track that gets down and dirty with its lyricism and its message, all while promoting self-discovery and self-worth. I love this one because, while it’s a bit alternative, it’s still impressive, bar-wise. It reminds me of a mix between Mac Miller when he was on his “BARS!” tip (which was often) and rapper’s rappers like Murs and Aesop Rock. Plus, the beat–especially the drumless outro–is fire. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
