I love this one because, like “Bitch I’m Pikachu” from PokeG Beats, it’s nerdy but lyrical at the same time. It’s in-your-face but still humble. It’s a great introductory track that also sounds like he’s been here for years. It’s, all in all, just a good song over a rap-rock beat. If that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll find it in spades here. Lyrically, he kind of reminds me of a mix between early Childish Gambino and Chance, with a matter-of-fact style that reminds me a bit of Frank Ocean as well.
I like the visuals too, as they switch Ant from locale to locale. This is seemingly done in an effort to show that he’s everything we could want from an artist and has his footprints settling everywhere you could think of. From home to the club to the beach, he’s everywhere and nowhere at the same time. If you want some smooth lyricism with a few nerdy references, this one’s for you and you should check it out.
Support dope music in all its forms as you never know where you’ll find your new favorite track.
