B. West Talks About His Narrative and How Philly Raised Him

Below, we’ve got the latest from Philadelphia-born-and-based artist B. West, the booming “The Narrative.” All in all, it’s a solid song, but the reason why I’m covering this one isn’t just because it’s lyrically sound. No, I’m also covering it because I’m a sucker for autobiographical hip-hop, regardless of who it’s from. Heck, some of my favorite tracks are of this variety.

What makes West’s song a bit more special than most is that he’s respected by his peers as a legend in his own right. In other words, he’s got others to back up his story. Hell, even if he didn’t, I’d rock with this one because it’s got an undeniable feel to it. So check out the visuals below and support dope music in all its forms.
