SOTBMusic Quickies Vol. 57, 6/26/22

Hi, y’all. It’s been a while (well, relatively speaking). Unfortunately, my vanilla job as well as some big changes in my life precluded me from writing this past week. When you’re moving on and helping people do their job, you’re probably always going to end up with something on the backburner. This time, sadly, it was SOTB. So, I’m going to keep this one brief because I know that you’re out and about this Sunday afternoon.

Today’s Quickies will be a playlist-centric Quickies. However, it’ll be one that deals with the topic of growing up. Maturation is key in any successful person or relationship. It’s one of those things that can’t be avoided. Well, it can’t be if you’re trying to better yourself. Growing up doesn’t always just mean getting another year on your age. Instead, growing up means realizing what works for you as a person, what doesn’t, how to differentiate between the two and how to bring those who see your vision along with you on your ride through life. It helps you realize what you’ve done wrong in the past and what you can do right to avoid those mistakes again. You look at your past, think about your future and figure out how the two make sense in your present. I’ve been there. Heck, in some ways, I’ll always be there because I’m always growing and maturing. Additionally, you eventually learn what makes you happy and you learn what keeps you happy and fulfilled I think that today’s Quickies will focus on that overarching theme of growing up and, hopefully, provide you with some keys in order to have your own glow-up.
