Yoonha Verse Struggles to Let Go on “The Morning”

The third track on Verse’s upcoming Loners n Lovers EP, “The Morning” is one of those tracks that’s melancholic as heck. It’s sad in a bittersweet sort of way, but it also has a slight touch of optimism within its lyrics. The song features the singer/songwriter speaking on a decaying relationship and her desire to just have one more time within it to say her final goodbyes. I like this one because of the vocals Verse gives us, bouncing between Korean and English while being sonically reminiscent of Jhene Aiko mixed with The Weeknd. If you’ve been in this situation, where you’re sure you’ve got to leave but want that last goodbye, check out the song below, be on the lookout for its visuals and support dope music in all its forms.
