A rerelease from Ray’s 2021 Dellacroce EP, “Golden Key” presents the two artists just rapping their collective asses off over a sample-heavy boombap beat. If you want some gritty hip-hop along the line of Griselda, check this one out, for sure. The beat is hard, the lyrics are top-tier and it serves as a good introduction to who Ray P is as an artist. The Michigan-based artist is back after taking a few years off and, while I never heard of his stuff before “Golden Key,” I’ll be giving him more listens as time goes by.
