From the flow to the beat to the lyrical content, everything flows and goes together like, well, jungle juice. Named for the party cocktail designed to get you drunk as quickly as possible, this one is a bop that features the artist flying from point to point. It’s that frenetic nature that kept me intrigued and enthralled by Honey’s lyrics and sound. It’s not exactly hip-hop, though it’s definitely got roots in the genre. That’s because the sound’s kind of a mix between mainstream hip-hop, pop, electronic music and dance. It’s like a mix between Princess Nokia, Snow Tha Product and a bit of artists like Doja from a sonic standpoint. Check it out and support dope music in all its forms.
