The JUSE Presents the Pro-Black Women “Black Honey”

I love the energy that this collective put out into the world on “Black Honey.” The JUSE is a collective featuring nine different styles and sounds who came together to present a song that blends contemporary hip-hop, R&B, spoken word, neo-soul and other genres to uplift and motivate. It’s one of those songs that’ll get stuck in your head (pun unintended) and make you say “let me go out here and uplift the next Black woman I come across–even if it’s just a headnod at something awesome she’s doing.” Truthfully, we should be doing that regardless, but let’s be real. Sometimes, we get lost and forget that Black men and women wouldn’t be here without a mother. Check out the positive vibes below and support dope music in all its forms.
