Izzy Kershaw Presents the Trippy “The Power of God and Anime”

To put it funnily, this one had me on my “babe wake up, new Izzy” tip. The UK singer/songwriter blends nostalgia and “disappointment about the prospect of the future” in a way that’s playful but also in-your-face. I love the trippy visuals and the warbling vocals (and bass). It seems that the video was filmed during a spike in the COVID pandemic in the UK, where she found a building with some pretty sweet purple lighting. Creatives gonna create, because this sparked her and her team to film the visuals for “God and Anime” on the spot. I like this one also because it’s a bit nerdy, a little dorky, and completely honest with itself and what it’s about–just like Izzy as an artist. If you’re intrigued, check out the visuals below and support dope music in all its forms.
