Bowen Thi Sings About Temporary Love and Beauty on “Favorite”

Above, we’ve got the latest from Bowen Thi, “Favorite.” The song brings to mind artists like Brent Faiyaz, Joji and Mac Miller, at least to me. Thematically, the song is about temporary love and how it’s still a good thing (when one accepts that it is temporary). For example, think of a field of flowers in the springtime. It’s a temporary thing, because those flowers will bloom, blossom and wither. However, while it’s there, people from all around can enjoy it and take it its beauty. I think that’s what Bowen’s after on this one. We should appreciate all of the good, beautiful things in life—regardless of how fleeting they may be. After all, would you rather have nice things some of the time or mediocre things all the time? I like the former. Check out the song above and support dope music in all its forms.
