I like NNADI’s latest because it reminds me of a mix between Pharrell and Frank Ocean with a dash of Steve Lacy. That’s even down to the early-2000s R&B production. I think it’s that throwback vibe that helps the song’s lyrics (seemingly a story about a man trying to find peace) hit that much harder. The track is one that can be danced to, but also one that you’d play when things are feeling a bit crappy and you’re trying to sort yourself out.
