Scream Geronimo Presents the Bar-Heavy “Closing Act”

Inward reflection is key, as artists and as humans. If we don’t take time to think about what’s good for us, negativity has the chance to bring us down. Over dreamy production from Bless 1, Scream Geronimo speaks on this phenomenon and tries to create what he calls “rise and shine music.”

I like the production, but I love the lyrics, as they remind me of Lupe and Blu. The Virginia native’s always been a wizard with the pen. However, he takes things to another level on this one, with a heavy helping of bar-heavy verses. These moving verses are about trying to get up and beat the rat race that can exist on a day-to-day basis.

What sets this track above some others with similar topics is Geronimo’s calm flow. It helps listeners absorb his words and thoughts without overwhelming them. All in all, this is an incredible song from one of the SOTB OGs. Check it out below and remember to support dope music in all its forms.
