Lil Flower Nasti Presents the Throwback-Friendly “Bye Bye Boy”

Lil Flower Nasti has been one of my favorite discoveries this year. Her latest, “Bye Bye Boy,” is an anti-F-boy anthem while also being a pro-femininity anthem. “Bye” is one of those tracks that falls in the same area as, say, an Amy Winehouse. It also helps that, like Winehouse, LFN manages to mix old and new sounds to create something that can eventually be seen as timeless. I like the raps on here as well, because Z-Man’s verse is playful but also has the San Francisco rapper embodying the role of the persistent ex pretty well. If you’re like me, you’ll like this one. So do the thing: check it out and support dope music in all its forms.
