Rockim Williamson Gives Us Two for One

Above, we’ve got the latest from Detroit-born artist Rockim Williamson, “Alignment/HIM.” The two-for-one track finds the young rhymesayer spitting his soul and showing why he should have eyes on him. Plus, Williamson is able to do all of this with minimal profanities and pretty clean rap, which is a pretty cool thing if you ask me.

Yes, I curse in a majority of my songs, but I applaud artists who don’t drop four-lettered words in their music as well. It takes a lot to rhyme “-uck” ending words without slipping in an “F” in there. Baltimore Commercial Break 1 was my attempt at this; it’s actually a bit harder than it looks.

Anyway, “Alignment/HIM” has my attention for sure. And I hope it’ll grab yours as well, since the young brother is spitting his truth. Go ahead and check out the track above and support dope music in all its forms.
