A sexy track and video that feels a bit like a Prince cut, “Offline” features LIE wanting to make a real connection (and not just through screens and texts). I love this one because it really reminds me of a Prince track. That’s because of its harmonies, sensuality, a bit of androgyny and some LBGTQ+ vibes that feature some “love is universal” positioning (which I’m here for). Plus, NING’s vocals are fun, funky and very rich–like Prince’s. I don’t really have much else to say beside check this one out and be on the lookout for NING’s debut album. Oh, yeah.
