A song from AMEA’s The Agenda: Love project, “It’s All Right” also finds the artist letting us know that, well, it’s alright to receive love. I don’t know who needs to hear that, but whomever does? It’s okay to let that love rain on you. Love comes in many forms. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience a lot of them (romantic, familial, friends, pets, etc.). However, there was a time where I wasn’t as well-adjusted to receiving love and was skittish of actually giving it, as well. It was a dark time in my life that I’m sure I’ve alluded to, either in an article or through my music. We’re not here for another cathartic session, though.
