Geechi Suede and Shane Sounds Present Pearl Handle

This feels like 1990s rap done right in the 2020s. Then again, that shouldn’t be a surprise, considering that Geechi is one-half of Camp Lo. The storytelling here is top-notch, as is the production (which is handled by Shane Sounds). “Pearl” is slated to appear on Shane’s Apostolos project, which finds the Bay Area native crafting hard-hitting but soulful instrumentals for artists to rock on. This is definitely a song I’d play on a summer night–or a fall one, for that matter. It’s chockful with imagery that transports you back to long-passed eras. If you need a trip down memory lane that’s still at home in the present, check the song out below and support dope music in all its forms.
