Dimi and Kid Riz Get Confessional on “It Was You”

Producer Dimi linked with Kid Riz to create a song about breakups, toxicity and terrible relationships. I love the Weeknd-like production and vibes on the vocals. The song sounds like it’d be at home in the early 2010s with early Frank and Weeknd. It’s moody and atmospheric and, again, speaks on toxic relationships and blame-placing. I feel that this one should be played late at night, when you’re alone, trying to figure out what effed up in your relationship(s) for things to go so south. If you’re, like me, in a non-toxic relationship, you’ll love the vibes and the production (and respect the lyrical content). Either way, the song’s solid so check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
