Baltimore-born, NY-residing Bobby Woody’s latest one, while short, is a fire track. That’s mainly because of the way it feels like a Timbaland-produced song. Well, that and the fact that it blends alt-R&B and 2000s hip-hop into one beautiful mess of feels and emotions. What grabbed me about this one was that Bobby tried to (and succeeded in) transcend genres and make a song that’s all over the place and concise as hell at the same time.
