Autocorrect Speaks on Cost-of-Living on “Leased”

This on grabbed me because of its topic. As I’m moving in about a month or so, I’ve been apartment (and furniture) shopping and realized something: the price of things has gone way the hell up. In other words, the rent–and everything else–is too damn high! Yeah, I get it. Inflation plus supply chain issues plus a soft-ish recession plus wages increasing equals costs going up. But, my God. Some of this ish doesn’t make any sense.

Autocorrect’s “Leased” starts off as a Mac Miller-esque vibe song. By the end, it’s a Mac Miller-esque song that honestly and bluntly talks about the cost of living, the inability to own your own, leasing and the whole damn thing being expensive AF. Plus, it even talks about how we sometimes don’t have full control of our lives, as we may depend on others to live and gain revenue. However, living shouldn’t be this expensive, if we’re being real here. Anyhow, check out the song below and support dope music in all its forms.
