I started listening to this one, though it’s a bit out of my wheelhouse, because of the blurb MCD sent me about himself. He says that he “raps about breakups, relationships, drug abuse and mental health awareness.” We get a lot of that on “Life is Lemonade,” a song that kind of plays around with the “when life gives you lemons…” adage. Sonically, it reminds me a bit of a Juice WRLD song–thematically, too. The Jersey-based artist has my full attention after this one. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
