Stefon Charlot Speaks on a Breakup on “My Head”

A song that’s essentially about the processes surrounding a breakup, “My Head” goes through the stages of a breakup. From the fears some of us may have when a relationship reaches its end to the acceptance that it’s best to move on, we get all of it in this track. Over a minimalistic beat, Charlot’s velvety vocals flow nicely and make you feel every word she sings. Breakups are tough, even for those who know it’s the best thing to do. You sometimes struggle with the “maybe I could stay,” even when it’s against common sense to do so. However, when you accept things are done, you can grow and flourish in other ways.
