Tamani Joy Presents Visuals for “PLANTLIFE”

An ode to his passed grandparents and an homage to “the generational values that [his grandparents] passed on,” Tamani Joy’s latest is a pretty darn great song. Sonically, it reminds me a mix between Kid Cudi, trap and Baltimore club. I love that he’s able to spread his wings creatively these last few years, as the young Baltimore-born artist has an impeccable eye and ear for great music. If you want to hear something uplifting today, I recommend checking this one out and supporting dope music in all its forms.
