I like that this one’s giving us a real look into relationships. They aren’t very easy to maintain, even the best ones. That’s because each person has their own complexities and traumas that can make it difficult to navigate through uncharted waters. This song kind of reminds me of the time that I, for the first time, broke down in front of my girl. She told me that “it’s okay to be down,” but that I’m a Leo. Truthfully, that tough love has snapped me out of many a f*cked-up situation. I love the production on this one as well, as it kind of reminds me of songs from 90s rap groups.
