A song that’s about “finding someone you’d fight til the end of time for, someone you’d die for, and someone worth sacrificing your day to day for,” Caroline is a great song and a bit of a slow burner. I’m at the stage of my relationship with Ashley that even just talking to her for 85 minutes (random number, I know) makes me happier than talking to most people for like 6 hours. I’ve told her that I’d do anything for her (within reason) and I meant that. I’ve personally never had someone who loves me unconditionally that wasn’t my mom. She knows my flaws and most of my f*cked-up things and she’s still there. And I’m there for her, as I’ve said to her and on social media, until the world ends.
