It appears on Joezy’s recently-released Lo-Fi Wi-Fi EP, which I recommend you check out as well. The song has a neo-soul meets conscious rap vibe to it and has mostly-clean lyrics. It feels like a Wale song when Wale would get into his conscious bag. That’s because it sounds equally like poetry and rap at the same time. It also seems that’s the case because, like Wale, Joezy (f/k/a Joozy Joe) is a DMV native who blends poetic musings and lyrics from the heart.
