Tracy Lamont and J.Phree’s lyrics on here feature conversations on the rap game, mental health and substance abuse–plus manages to be a coherent song with bars. Overall, if this is what 2023 is going to be like musically, I’m really looking forward to it. Technically, though, the song was released officially before Christmas; let’s not split hairs.
