Each verse features a side of the story, with the bridge and final hook acting as more of a “truth” (read: a compromise between both sides of the story that seems more aligned with the “truth” of the matter). It’s an interesting song, one that makes you bob your head and also question whether that one breakup you had some time ago could’ve gone a bit smoother.
