Kaleem Taylor Presents “Scars on My Skin”

The best way to describe this one is “Bryson Tiller meets The Weeknd.” Vocally, Taylor manages to go all over the place and still make it sound good. Lyrically, the song is one of those “I know you better than he does” sorts of R&B tracks (which is perfect for Valentine’s Day in some ways and National Side Piece Day in others), but it’s elevated to a higher standard by the vocals. We feel the hurt in Taylor’s voice and lyrics because he sings his heart out on this track. Check it out below and support dope music in all its forms.
