Kristopher James’ “I Can Only Love You in a Song” is a Fitting Throwback

I love soul music. I mean, I’m a Black dude who was born to a woman born in the 1940s. The stuff is essentially in my blood from birth. Anyway, Kristopher James’ “I Can Only Love You in a Song” has a real throwback feel to it—and it does so without completely just making the song sound vintage. Instead, the song makes it known that James wants to let his feelings put out there and present them to the world. Additionally, his voice? It’s frickin’ amazing. Check out the song above and support dope music in all its forms.
