A bouncy alt-R&B track, “Never Be” is a song about moving past negativity to shine within your own light. I like the vocals as well as the Kaytranada-like production. With regards to the production, it bounces between house-like vibes and R&B with a bit of pop as well. All in all, it’s a great introduction to the singer/songwriter.
