Let’s be real. I love the fact that this one channels that 90s R&B vibe without completely aping a track with a sample. It’s sexy–as f*** (which also makes it great for a late-night vibe). Elijah Blake’s vocals are strong and sensual, same with Jordin Sparks (who’s showcasing even more confidence on this one than usual). All this comes together to create a “modern R&B smash with a catchy pop hook [like a] ’90s-style duet.” This is especially true with the outro, where Blake and Sparks’ vocals blend so dang well together.
