Funktion_OG Remixes “Delusional” for Nerves Baddington

Happy Tuesday night/Wednesday morning (if you’re reading this after midnight). I got this one from producer Funktion_OG. One of seven original beats Funktion made for a remix of group Nerves Baddington, “Delusional” is a jazz rap-friendly, boombap-heavy sort of track. The remix finds Inkline (the emcee of the group) dropping bars and knowledge at the same time. I’m curious as to how the rest of the remixes will sound, given that I’ve also had the chance to listen to some of the original album, No Survivors. If the rest of Funktion’s remixes are anything like “Delusional,” the boombap-heavy vibes will add another dimension to the multilayered lyricism presented. If this intrigues you, I recommend checking the track out and giving this one the SOTB special by supporting dope music in all its forms.
