joan Channels 2000s Alternative Pop-Rock with “loner”

I love love LOVE the fact that this one makes me think about my middle and high school days, as it kind of has a Green Day-meets-Fall Out Boy-meets-Dashboard Confessional sort of vibe. “loner,” the newest from Arkansas duo joan, is one of those songs that’s about being alone with someone and not just being out and about with everyone else. Loners can stick together, be alone together and make beautiful music together (both figuratively and literally). I also like the simple visuals, as they feature joan alone in a room playing out the track. If you want some modern-day throwback pop-rock, I recommend giving this one a spin. Check it out below and do the thing: support dope music in all its forms.
