Milky Chance’s “Living in a Haze” Lives in Duality

So, I’ll be honest. I’m not big in the pop-rock scene as much as I was in my teens and early-twenties. That said, I didn’t really know who German group Milky Chance were before receiving their song “Living in a Haze.” However, the duality of the song helps get you familiar with them real quick.

Lyrically, the song is dark, contemplative even as the hook includes the line “I should be dancing,” as if to say the narrator in the song is always on the sidelines in life–even when they, in theory, could and should have the chance to live every once in a while. Sonically, the song’s upbeat and the visuals are also pretty pop-friendly, but have that same dark undertone as the lyrics. Check it all out above and support dope music in all its forms.
