Life is crazy sometimes. What really makes it all worth it is having people you can share your wins with. That’s not to say tooting your own horn for just yourself isn’t important. Instead, I feel that both help push us all to be great(er) than we were the day before. I like Oliver’s approach to “interconnectivity” and how our bonds make us who we are–and make us battle the battles we choose to. Sonically, and lyrically, the track reminds me a bit of a Mac Miller-esque song with a healthy bit of old-school Lupe as well.
