While a bit out of my usual wheelhouse, Chymes’ “Game Over” is intoxicating. It could because of the mesmerizing vocals and lyrics. It could be the song blends a bit of alt-pop, industrial and dance music to create the experience one may go through when listening. It’s fun, it’s dark, it’s all of the things packed into one tight two-and-a-half-minute package. If you think that you need some alt-alt-pop (yes, I’m making that up) that’s dark but still has danceability and some consciousness to it, check this one out below and support dope music in all its forms.
