I love the intergalactic overtones of the sensuality displayed by Dakota Jones on her latest song, “Misbehave Me.” It’s a sexy song with lines like “Legs so long, make your knees go weak/Thighs so thick, make you miss your seat.” It’s also a bit playful with its delivery, which is owed to the instrumentation. The band’s part here? It sounds like a mix of a Parliament-like jam band and a neo-soul sexual eruption.
