On Omotayo’s Odyssey, the singer/songwriter wants to tell a story that “begins in the underworld and ends in the stars” and speak on emotions. “Grief,” her first song released from the project, is a song about being “a love song to the dancefloor…and heartbreak.” I really love the harmonies she employs here, as they add a sense of urgency to her lyrics (and a sense that she’s not the only one who feels these feelings).
