Sabir Presents “in Your name, i sin”

Lyrically, this collection of songs is amazing. It’s got an array of bars and quoteables. Conceptually, the project is the story of a first-generation American who’s trying to live up to expectations. He does so while also confronting and dismissing stereotypes about his heritage. I love that this album finds the new (to me) rhymesayer speaking on a wide cariety of topics and makes each of them just as engaging as the others. It’s a unique project from a type of voice we don’t hear as often. Check it out above and support dope music in all its forms.
