An conscious alt-rap song that samples an alt-pop song and goes on a rampage about the world’s insanity? Yep, that’s what “MAD?” is–at least to me. It’s a vibey song with a catchy hook. Sound-wise, it’s a bit more experimental than what I typically post on here. However, it’s one of those songs that grabs you–regardless of what you’re used to. The message is that “yes, the world sucks. You can either be MAD at the situation or make the best out of everything you’re given.” That’s a great message to have in your songs; we all need to be reminded of the beauty of the world–even in its craziness.
