Mike Craftsman Finds Light in the “Bad Days”

No one’s perfect, not even one’s family. It’s the degree they’re less than perfect which helps color our own interactions and memories. Some people, even with their imperfections, make us better. Others can break us and tear us down. Again, it depends on the degree of one’s imperfections and flaws.

On “Bad Days,” rapper Mike Craftsman discusses family structures and dynamics while also attempting to grow in the face of those dynamics. I love the honesty Mike delivers these lyrics, as it’s a story many of us can relate to. I mean, we’ve all had moments/people in our families that put us on pause and go speechless. We’ve also had those moments where we wonder if we can still be positive—and still end up doing so.
