DEVMACCC Keeps Moving on “No More”

Losses can change a person–especially if they come in succession of each other. Mississippi artist DEVMACCC’s “No More” speaks on the losses he’s experienced over time and how he’s been able to pull himself back together. That’s sometimes the toughest part to the grief process, which MACCC subtly acknowledges throughout the track. For example, when I lost Mama Young, I thought I’d end up losing my mind. Instead, things kind of just felt dulled, subdued, not real in some ways. Grief and loss can really f*** you up, to say the absolute least. Now on a musical standpoint, “No More” is a somber track with a lot of quotable lyrics and a message of “life is tough, but we gon’ be alright.” Check it out below, support dope music in all its forms and never, ever take life or your people for granted.
